Payment
If a tour doesn’t have live availability (shown on a calendar in the tour page), you can hit “Book Now” and our team will make sure there is availability on your chosen trip. If there is, we’ll simply email over your travel vouchers and you’re good to go.
In the event that there isn’t any availability, we’ll give you some alternative dates or tours to choose from, or refund your booking in full.
We only accept payment in $AUD, however you can view the prices in your local currency by changing the drop down menu (located at the bottom of every page) to your chosen currency.
All prices on the website are in Australian dollars ($AUD), although you can change the currency option in the footer to display prices in a range of other currencies.
Reservation
Cancellation and refund policies vary from supplier to supplier – you can find specific details in the information tab of your chosen tour. If you’re unsure, let us know and we’ll happily run you through everything.

We understand that it’s sometimes easier to build flexibility into your plans, so with most of our Australia tours, it’s possible to book them open-dated. If you’d prefer to book this way, just get in touch and we’ll arrange it for you.
Once you’ve paid, your travel vouchers will contain all the information you need to lock in your final tour dates.

Tours
No. Avocado Travel is an online travel agency – our job is to connect you, the traveller, with a variety of trips and tours run by suppliers across Australia. Details of the tour supplier can be found in the information tab of each product.
All of the prices on Avocado Travel are the same as if you booked directly through the supplier or tour operator, so you’re not paying any extra to book with us. In fact, you’ll often get a better deal. If you find any of the products on our site cheaper elsewhere, let us know and we’ll happily match and even beat them!
Travel insurance is not included in any bookings. We strongly recommend that you take out adequate insurance for all persons travelling as soon as you make a booking. For many trips and tours, it is a requirement that you have adequate travel insurance that covers the activities you will be doing.
Once you’ve received your travel vouchers, you can either print them or save them on a device that you’ll have with you on the day of your tour. If you save them on a device, make sure you can access the vouchers without an internet connection. Your vouchers also contain the terms and conditions as well as contact details to confirm open dated tickets. If you lose them, it’s no problem – get in touch and we’ll send over a new copy.
