- Please note that it is essential that you have a competent swimming ability and be able to understand and follow River Guide instructions in English, to participate in Tully River rafting.
- English speaking and comprehension will be assessed by River Guides at the time of pick-up; if there are concerns about your ability to understand instructions and communicate with our River Guides, you will not be able to participate in the tour and no refund is available or will be provided.
- Minimum age is 13 years.
- Rafting is not suitable for anyone who may be pregnant.
- Water-based activities contain a certain element of risk and all participants must sign a Liability Release Form. People traveling under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian to be able to sign this form at the arranged pick up point.
- Participants must disclose any medical condition prior to traveling.
- Be aware that some medical conditions may exclude people from participating in our tours, eg pregnancy.
- The Tully River is an integral part of clean, green energy production, thanks to the operations of the 88 MW Kareeya Hydro. They vary the water release time pending capacity, production and volume which means the Tully rafting itinerary may vary in line with them. This ensures you’ll have the very best possible rafting experience.
