Day 1
Day 1:
Departs Darwin at around 6am. First stop the amazing Edith Falls!! Then onto Mataranka Hot Springs and then Daly Waters where you will spend a relaxing night, enjoying the free pub dinner and staying in shared motel accommodation. (dinner)
Day 2
Day 2:
Departs Daly Waters in the morning for the onward journey to Alice Springs stopping at The Devils Marbles and arriving in Alice Springs at around 6pm where you will spend a free night in a dorm at Haven Backpackers
Day 3
Day 3: Uluru
Pick up at 6am – travel to Uluru, where after lunch we head to the Cultural Centre for an insight into the flora, fauna and the local Aboriginal people of the Red Centre. We take you on a short guided interpretive walk at the base of Uluru. We then head off to watch the spectacular Uluru sunset while enjoying a glass of bubbly with nibbles. Then it’s back to our camp to enjoy a hearty meal, a hot shower and a night under the stars.
Day 4
Day 4: Kata Tjuta & Kings Canyon B/L/D included
Enjoy an early breakfast before watching the sunrise over Uluru, then it’s off to Kata Tjuta for a walk through the Valley of the Winds. After lunch, we travel to Kings Creek Station viewing the beautiful George Gill Range along the way. Here we enjoy an outback BBQ dinner and laughs around the campfire under the incredible outback sky. Later, get into your swags for another perfect view of the stars.
Day 5
Day 5: Kings Canyon B/L included
Another early start, after breakfast taking on the spectacular Kings Canyon rim walk. We will visit the North and South walls, The Garden of Eden, as well as the Natural Amphitheatre. After this amazing walk, we hit the road starting the journey back to Alice Springs. On the way home stopping at the camel farm for a FREE camel ride. We arrive back in Alice late afternoon.
Day 1
Day 1: Uluru
We leave Alice at 6am and travel to Uluru. After lunch we head to the Cultural Centre, after which we take you on a short guided walk at the base of Uluru. We then head off to watch the spectacular sunset over Uluru enjoying a glass of bubbly with nibbles. Then its back to camp for enjoy a hearty meal and a night under the stars. (lunch,dinner)
Day 2
Day 2: Kata Tjuta & Kings Canyon
Spend the morning doing an amazing hike through the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta. After lunch its off to Kings Creek station, viewing the beautiful George Gill Range along the way. We’ll enjoy an outback BBQ diner and laughs around the campfire and another evening of star gazing.(breakfast,lunch,dinner)
Day 3
Day 3: Kings Canyon
Up early to take on the spectacular Kings Canyon Rim walk. We’ll visit the North and South walls, the Garden of Eden and the Natural Ampitheatre. Then its back to Alice Springs along the highway stopping off for an optional camel ride. You’ll be staying at Haven Backpackers Resort for the night. (breakfast,lunch)
Day 4
Day 4:
Depart Alice Springs at 5am heading along the Stuart Highway. Stop at Devils Marbles for a photo opportunity and then continue on to Daly Waters historical pub. We stop overnight and have a pub dinner (included) and drinks at the bar if you wish! There is live entertainment every night in peak season.(dinner)
Day 5
Day 5:
Another early start to continue on to Mataranka Hot Springs for an amazing swim in the thermal pools! Then to the amazing Edith Falls!! After lunch continue on and arrive in Darwin at around 5pm.
Pick up from all Alice Springs accommodation at 6am on Fridays March through to October.
Pick up from Mitchell Street accommodation (Darwin) at 6am every Wednesday morning. Departs March to October.
Meals except dinner are not included during the 2 day express.
