Meet some of the amazing marine life that calls this slice of coastline home on this two-and-a-half-hour Byron Bay Snorkel tour.

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at Julian Rocks Marine Sanctuary, one of Australia’s best spots for snorkelling. Known as “Nguthungulli” by the local Arakwal people, this site is packed with marine life thanks to its unique location where tropical and temperate waters meet.

Departing from Brunswick Heads Boat Harbour, you’ll hop on board Apollo 2, a purpose-built dive boat, and enjoy the short, exciting ride out to the rocks. Once you’re there, you’ll find shallow, protected waters that are perfect for spotting turtles, manta rays, leopard sharks, and shoals of colourful fish. If you’re visiting between June and November, you might even catch sight of humpback whales on the way!

With expert guides to show you around and all the gear included, this is a super easy way to explore an incredible underwater world. And the views of Byron Bay’s coastline from the boat are pretty epic too!

Note that this tour operates from Brunswick Heads, just 15 mins from Byron Bay. If you’d prefer a central Byron Bay meeting point, head to this Byron Bay Snorkelling Tour option.
